On November 29th, Friends of Fe y Alegría in the US joined Giving Tuesday for the second time. This year, we decided to invite you to support the right to play for Fe y Alegría Colombia children.

Playing allows children to explore, discover and develop their capacities and emotions and to learn about the world around them. However, in vulnerable contexts and, especially in the case of internally displaced children, play and recreation gain an added value, as they become tools to provide order, stability, protection and hope for younger children. In Colombia, the internal armed conflict has been one of the most prominent social and humanitarian crises of the last 50 years, causing the displacement of close to six million people, 65% of which are minors.

Thanks to individuals like you, we have ensured that over 4,000 Colombian boys and girls will exercise their right to play!
